MIDDLE SCHOOL

Mrs. Dawn Andrews « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

We are about 3 weeks into the 4th quarter.  We have begun reviewing for the end of year testing.  For 8th grade:  We are completing Quizizz together in class each day.  If your student is absent, this Quizizz will be assigned to him/her through the Google Classroom.  A take-home quiz will be given at the end of each 2 topics. For 6th grade:  We are going through the guided notes and reviewing about 2 topics each week.  At the end of each 2 topics, students will take a quiz.  Please, make sure you are keeping up with your assignments.  Check Skyward for any missing assignments.  If you need any help, please let me know.  I do not offer any after-school tutoring.  However, I am available before school on most days.  Let me know if you need any additional help.

Students must be completing iReady assignments each week.  Every week, each student must pass a minimum of 1 lesson.  This is a weekly assignment.  In order for your student to receive a 100 on this assignment, he/she must pass one lesson.  Students will be given a Mastery grade on their iReady lessons on May 13.  In order for students to earn a 100 for this mastery grade, he/she must pass 10 lessons this quarter (March 14 - May 12).  The last day to submit a lesson is 11:59 pm on May 12.  The grade will be entered on May 13.  Please, let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Please, check Skyward to see if your student is missing any work.  If your student is absent or does not complete an assignment, he/she still needs to turn in any assignments missed or incomplete.  Please, help your student to complete these assigments this week!!!

Just a reminder that each student must have a binder or folder in which he/she is keeping all of the notes/handouts.  We are using these notes each day to review for the PM3.  I have attached a pdf copy of these notes at the bottom of my page.  If your student is missing any of these handouts, just print the missing page(s) and have your student complete it. I teach both 6th and 8th grades.  Be sure to print the correct grade level notes for your student.  Please, let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
